Waiting is a feature

Not doing is also a decision. WAH tells you what can wait — on purpose.

Some tasks beg to be started but should be left alone. Starting a pricing one-pager while legal is still out creates half-finished documents, not progress.

WAH names that explicitly: You can wait — Update roadmap → Tomorrow · Low urgency · No active dependency · No deadline pressure · Starting now adds noise, not progress.

Postpone on purpose

The fourth Ask intent (What can I postpone?) exists because prevention is a next move. Seeing what is blocked before it becomes late beats a badge that says blocked after the deadline.

The work graph makes this causal: blocked by interviews, waiting on legal, campaign cannot start. That chain is readable without opening three tools. You do not get a red dot — you get a reason and an owner.

Team without the dashboard

Shared work is a graph, not a board. WAH surfaces the stall while there is still time to move it — not as a dashboard widget, but as a next move someone owns today. That is the Team feature we ship first: see what's blocked before it becomes late, with the chain you can act on.

When to share this note

Use it when a teammate feels guilty for not starting the roadmap. Starting now is not progress if the launch path still needs interviews. Let it wait until tomorrow — WAH will surface it when the window and dependency clear.

Waiting is not avoidance. It is a decision with a reason — and a tomorrow when the reason changes.
